Lindsay Lohan: Joining James Deen in “The Canyons”

She’s on her way to a full career comeback, and Lindsay Lohan is lined up to star in “The Canyons” when it begins production next month.

The “Mean Girls” cutie will join James Deen on the set of the Kickstarter-funded project, written by Bret Easton Ellis and directed by Paul Schrader.

Ellis tweeted, "I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara... Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it."

“The Canyons” is described as a contemporary thriller that documents the quest of five twenty-somethings as they pursue power, sex, love, and success in modern-day Hollywood.
