On February 3, 2018 Alleyne was appointed to represent the Trinidad & Tobago at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant, by Jenny Douglas the President of Miss Trinidad & Tobago Universe pageant after the 2018 edition of the pageant was not held due to undisclosed reason.
